Unfinished Works |
I have been writing music since 1994. I dropped most of my involvement in 1999 so that I could focus on my school work. When I graduated from Penn State University in 2003, I decided to start writing music again. In 2005, I again dropped my music when I switched to a GNU/Linux operating system. I have slowly picked it back up, but most of my music resides on a backup drive.
All songs are on Ogg Vorbis format (Why?). Some may have source XM files or FLAC versions.
Here are songs that I have released, at least for now:
- "Decisions III",
finished April 08, 2004. Full quality.
An old song I started a long time ago, for reasons long since forgotten. It reminds most of video game music, and wanders quite a bit from its original premise as the song goes on. Some have quoted it as being workable in a cinematic sequence or similar montage. It's also been responsible for making sure people wash dishes. - "Wings of
the Fallen", finished 1998. Full quality. Source XM
available.
This song was written a long time ago, to many people. As much as I felt that it was not one of my best works, it was better received than I expected. This was written at a very dark point in my life, and was dedicated to those who suffered from their lack of trust, betrayals, long-distance relationships, and the burden of supporting others with serious issues. One of my favorite songs, although a bit rough around the edges. All synthesizer (not drum) samples are my own (from a Roland Juno-106) and can be used royalty-free, although I'm sure they have a little noise in them. Re-mixed in 2007 (thanks to questionable status on the original Tom samples) and re-dedicated to all of humanity who suffer, whatever the reason. - F# Jump, finished
2005. Source available.
A jazzy fugue: a song which emphasizes slight variations of a theme, expressed in an environment which adds its own variations and improvisations every so often. Pay special attention to the drum patterns in the first verse; no two are alike. The title comes from a key signature switch in one of the bridges that is almost undetectable. - Longing, finished 1999.
Source available.
A three-instrument melodic dirge. SWMBO thinks it's pretty. Re-mixed in 2007 to clean up the ending I always hated.
Unfinished previews
None at this time.
I will add more music as I can. I am unsure of how much space I have been allotted, so I may end up releasing files in a smaller "Internet" quality. If you desire a higher quality, you may contact me for a higher quality file.

If you are unsure of the license, consult the tags of the song (Ogg Vorbis or FLAC format) or the included license file in the archive (Source). I try to update my license to the latest version. You may always contact me for additional licensing; I am open to most license arrangements. (I do not believe in royalties; I do believe in some editorial control.)
